Transitional Housing is available for individuals and families who are in transition from temporary to permanent housing, due to a major crisis beyond their control.

This is a referral based program designed to keep families in a safe and protected environment while waiting for permanent housing. Referral organizations for this program are: Greater Gadsden Housing Authority, Greater Attalla Housing Authority, Etowah County Sheriff’s Office, Etowah County DHR, and Red Cross.
